Open Door Designs

Here are my preliminary sketches for the main project. Wasn't quite sure how to use this idea.  Just some ideas running through my head. Another idea. Decided I liked the logo on the right and am going with the design for my project.  I thought the deers antlers presented or served (almost like on a tray) whatever was on the top of them.  I thought it would be good for the bar and restaurant too.  See below.   The restaurant and bar designs.  I thought I would carry the deer through all of them.   Here is as far as I got in Illustrator turning my sketch into a vector path after I scanned and placed in Illustrator to work on using the pen tool.  More work to be done for sure.  

Here are my sketches for the words I chose. Noun:  Flamingo Adjective:  Broken Verb:  See These are my completed words:      I choose the word flamingo to re-create.  It was the first time I used the drawing feature on my Surface Pro.  I had to get used to the correct pressure to use while drawing on my monitor.  I used the brush tool. It took me some time.  Here's what I did in Illustrator.   

       "As a visual artist, my world is an ever-changing collection of interesting shapes, colors, values, and textures. Everything that I see is either consciously or subconsciously broken down into elements that I might use as the inspiration for my next painting. It does not always have to be grandiose or breathtaking but rather a suitable collection of shapes and values that I can build upon or rearrange to my liking.
