This one was a challenge for me.  I like it except for the butterfly scene.  I could not get my motion guide to transfer over to video.  It was like the butterfly had a  mind of it's own and it  flew a different path than what I drew.   It sounds like this project took everyone  considerable time including me.  When I wasn't pulling my hair out, I really enjoyed animation.  I will definitely use it in the future.      As you will notice, I didn't color the scenes other than her dress and the ribbon at the end because I wanted the concentration to be on the color pink which is the breast cancer color.  I also did not put music to it as I thought it was a serious subject and I didn't think music would enhance it.  I thought that just having text that people would have to read would make them think more about the subject matter.

Here are the screen shots of all five of my scenes.  I have not completed the work completely, but this will give you most of it. And, I still have to put it all together !!

Here is my storyboard for the animation I am working on  titled "Get Your Boobies Checked".  I made a change to one of my scenes from my original sketches.   I changed scene 2 from showing the actual procedure to the still scene showing the women at the door of the procedure room.  I didn't want to be that graphic or scare anyone.  I don't know about anyone else, but this has been a lot of work for me, but I am learning loads.

The title of my final project is “Get Your Boobies Checked”.   It's about the importance of breast cancer screening.  It’s so important to be diagnosed early if you test positive for breast cancer.  It can be a matter of life and death really.   I intend to do all my own drawing.  None of this is set in stone.  I will be using Photoshop and Animate. There is a lot to learn to pull off this animation and I hope I can do it justice as I have a personal connection to this subject.        Sorry about my sketches being so close together, but that’s how it happened.  Please let me know what you think.  Thanks!

My inspiration for this design, as I said in a previous post, was a photo I took of the ceiling inside the Pantheon in Rome, Italy.  I am including the photo in this blog.      With the CarpetVista competition the theme was sustainability using wool.   They said that they did not want a lot of shading as it would be hard for them to produce.   I kept that in mind while designing this carpet along with the idea of using wool.   They also said they wanted something modern which I think I have created even though my inspiration was something that was built between A.D. 117-138.            You had your choice of designing a square, round or rectangular shape carpet.   Instead of doing just one shape, I wanted to show them that my design could be used for any of the three shape’s, so I did all three.   The grey squares had to be adjusted somewhat to fit the s...

CarpetVista Design Competition The guidelines for this competition are as follows: 1.  The carpet design should have a modern feeling 2.  Can do a design for a round, square or rectangular carpet (I have decided to do a design that will fit any all of these sizes. 3.  The design should suit a carpet that measures up to 6'7" x 9"8" 4.  The theme is sustainable, therefore a design that will be conducive to using wool.  (Being a lifetime purchaser of wool rugs and my time going to carpet factories while living in Taiwan, I feel my designs can be executed using wool with no problems).      Other parameters are: 1.  The design should be creative and commercially viable 2.  The design must be original 3.  The carpet will be made by hand, so shades can be a challenge 4.  Avoid complex forms and fine details      One big problem I have is that entries must be submitted October 28, 2019.  I am ...
